Just additional tips I picked up along the way, could be useful someday..

A topic to discuss

You know when sometimes you run out of words to say?

Like your mind goes into a complete and utter shutdown.. Like a light bulb that goes off all of a sudden..

I get this sometimes.. especially in situations that are far more overwhelming to comprehend like someone saying nasty things to you.. or it could be your mind goes on auto shut off when the person talking infront of you is boring as hell.. or when someone is trying to discuss something completely out of your brain’s league something out of this world and incomprehensible.. or someone you wish never to talk to you starts talking to you again..

How do you normally react to these kinds of situation? When you’re at a loss for words.. When your tongue rolls up inside your mouth.. When all the words even the alphabets lose their meaning in your brain.. How do  you deal exactly??

I guess if you’re someone as transparent as me, it would be so easy to detect but I’m amazed at people who don’t seem to have a single blind spot in their brains.. they just keep going and going and going.. as if their brains work on machines and on hyper drive every single time.. But I have yet to find an actual person who does that.. really..

This could also apply in times when I am looking for a topic to post and write about. I guess a part of the reason also comes from having a lot of topics to choose from, there are so many that you end up not coming up with one.

I guess all in all people have to have some off days sometimes. It allows us to gather more things to think about, and process in our thinking tanks. The way to deal with it at times is just to be subtle.. it’s all about exercising your brain so that even if you shut down you still know how to handle the conversation when necessary or in my case now to wing it in order to put out..

Till my next blot of ink! 🙂

When she cries..

I am a cry baby..

I admit it and I ain’t denying it..

I cry over the smallest and shallowest things..

I cry in movies, I cry for tv shows, even commercials, I cry even at times for no apparent reason..

Some days a good cry is all you need..

To wash away the dirt from your eyes

To cleanse your heart and soul from all negative energy

or just to let out all pent up emotions..

Crying is good therapy if you are the type who likes to keep things bottled up inside..

One can cry with any emotion. Mostly sad but there are tears for joy as well.

I can cry at the slightest of instance, most of the time it gets triggered when the situation I am witnessing is related to family mostly about parents or sons.. even pets!

I think I got this from my mama, she used to cry for the smallest things as well. I remember I would wonder why she was crying back when I was small and we’d laugh at her especially my papa who is the bigger critique when it comes to cry babies. Oh how I miss them..

As per Wikipedia:

Crying is the shedding of tears in response to an emotional state. The act of crying has been defined as “a complex secretomotor phenomenon characterized by the shedding of tears from the lacrimal apparatus, without any irritation of the ocular structures”.[1] A related medical term islacrimation, which also refers to non-emotional shedding of tears. Crying is also known as weeping, wailing, whimpering, and bawling.[2]

For crying to be described as sobbing, it usually has to be accompanied by a set of other symptoms, such as slow but erratic inhalation, occasional instances of breath holding and muscular tremor.

I believe everyone deserves to cry from time to time.

It’s not nice to laugh at someone at this state but I guess sympathy and a willing ear is more than enough to soothe those water ducts.

(awwww! i don’t own the rights for this picture by the way..)

Till my next blot of ink! 🙂

The Heirs

I was flipping thru some channels and came across Jeepney TV where “The Heirs” was airing. I watched the episode and fell in love with the series all over again.

I actually watched this Koreanovela back in 2013 when it first came out. I had to watch it online and remember waiting every Wednesday and Friday for each new episodes. I was immediately hooked.

I loved it first of all because Lee Min Ho is there and I could definitely say that he is at the top of my list for being one of the most handsome Korean actors with the talent to boot. I like the way he portrays each character he plays, he makes it so realistic and his face.. oh this guy’s face could melt your heart in an instant.

The story is actually pretty simple, it’s a light drama with a few comedy now and then. I like that the story line is not that heavy and most of the time the good guys almost always wins in every episode. Except for the latter part of the series where the twists and obstacles started which of course is necessary to make the whole story interesting.

Lee Min Ho who plays  Kim Tan, the main male protagonist in the story who has to battle being the 2nd son (illegitimate being he is the son of his father’s mistress but was registered to be the son of the 2nd wife in order for him to be a legal heir) and heir to one of the largest mogul in South Korea. Cha Eun-sang (or Julie in the Tagalized version) is portrayed by Park Shin Hye (I knew her all the way back to You’re Beautiful and Heartstrings) and she is the heroine in the history battling poverty, trying to fit in, bullies and being the apple of the eye of two boys all wanting to be a part of her life.

I like the chemistry between Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye, it’s not over the top and just enough to stimulate your heart’s senses. Both of them literally gave me the giggles every time they have a scene together. I especially love their kissing scenes! First time I saw it I was jumping up and down in my seat and I remember taking a screen shot of it, that’s how nice it was. Have a look at one of my favorite scenes below. I also loved all the songs, I still have copies of the songs and listen to it every now and then even if it’s in korean but all the melodies for every song are catchy and perfect for each scene.

All in all it’s a feel good tv series which left me hanging on to each and every episode back then. Seeing it now gives me that nostalgic feeling, made me want to watch the koreanovela all over again.

Business Ideas

For the past few months I have been beating my head thinking of which business to open. I am determined now more than ever to venture into an investment or business which will allow me to first of all earn more money at the same time something that will pique my interest so as to make it worthwhile and last long enough to pass on to my son.

So maybe the next entries in my blog will be all about the different ideas that have crossed my mind.

Hopefully I get something started soon.. clock is ticking.. tick tock! tick tock! tick tock!

So the first idea we had in mind is opening a pet shop/pet grooming/veterinary service. My partner and I have actually thought of opening a business in line with something that she and I have interests in and she has experience with. We both love dogs, we currently have two namely: Tippy (lassa apso) and Pipoca (cross chihuahua and mini pincher). In addition to that my partner also had her short lived stint in one of Dubai’s pet grooming shops. So what better business to venture into than something that we are both familiar and passionate about.

Next up is opening a Laundry Shop. Nowadays people are getting more and more lazy in doing their laundry. Plus there are those who actually don’t have the time or means to do their laundry such as students and employees who live in boarding houses. The key to this business is location, we have to select a prime location in order for this business to take off. Probably anywhere in the city within the vicinity of schools, malls or boarding houses. This idea actually came from my brother who thought that it is very timely since life nowadays is so fast paced that people even the wives don’t have the time to do even the basic household chores. We were thinking of either opening a laundry shop where we do everything and price it by kilos or the coin laundry shop which is getting more popular as well. Between the two the coin laundry shop would prove to be needing the bigger capital but I believe faster return of investment.

Another one of the ventures I was thinking of is opening a Rice Station / mini grocery store. Well rice is one of the main staple in the Philippines, all Filipinos could not live without and groceries well everyone needs ’em. These are actually basic necessities and common nowadays however location for such business is also very crucial not mention there already hundreds of stores opening in every corner of every area nationwide so it is a viable business however the competition is very tight.

I am still thinking of other businesses to venture to and will be talking all about it on my next blog entry..

If you guys have any suggestions just let me know.. or maybe you’d like to be a business partner do let me know as well..

Till my next blot of ink.. 🙂
